what can i do for an april fools for my crabby hubby?

any suggestions?

Dirty D

i have recently nicknamed my hubby "Dirty D" to stand for dirty diaper. I do not have kids but my B/F has a 16 month old beautiful girl and she tells me that babies get cranky if they have a dirty diaper. They whine and fuss - just like my hubby.

i am so sick of his attitude - this has to change fast.

any suggestions..........PLEASE?

yesterday and tomorrow

yesterday was the five year anniverary of the day we met.

we met at a dinner party at a friends house downtown Chicago on Huron and Clark. one of my closest friends and one of p's closest friends thought we would like each other. p did not know how fateful that night was, poor thing!

our two friends were like mother hens in the kitchen, watching us like hawks. they sent us across the street together to get some bread for the dinner. i guess one person could not carry a loaf of bread. i wonder how long they planned that one. you should have seen what p was wearing that night. an old sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers. it was obvious that no woman had been in his life for a long time. we still laugh about that. early on in our relationship, p and i took a shopping trip to Marshall Fields and we fixed his style issues - QUICK! now, it is evident that there is a woman in is life.

anyways, 5 years later....here we are. p and i have lived in 3 cities in the past 5 years. we still long for chicago, but we are happy with the suburban life in minneapolis. at least i am. i think p is happy too. this is where i grew up and i think p gets sick of all my "i remember when" stories. oh well, i get sick of all his networking, citrix, computer geek stories - so there.

tomorrow is the five year anniversary of our first date. It was a blizzard in chicago that night and so beautiful. more on that later. we are going to a very nice restaurant called kincaids to celebrate. paul bought a great bottle of Viader wine and i am looking forward to celebrating with that.

next week off to cancun. it will be p's first time and i am looking forward to see what he thinks.

i mean that p is an asshole in the nicest of ways. just in case you were wondering. he really isn't that bad. really.

p is off the hook today because he gave me a great bottle of Viader wine for VDAY that we are having on Friday night.

it is hard to believe that friday is our 5 year anniversary of our first date in chicago.

we are off to dinner with friends tonight. hopefully, p will behave.
